On the shopping list.
1. Have a pick list to add items instead of typing in each one.

2. Allow user to arrange list (move up, move down).

I've been playing around with http://www.recipezaar.com and it appears much of it can be pretty touchscreen friendly.

I've created several "Cookbooks" to group recipes together, and opening and selecting a cookbook, and corresponding recipes from those are touch friendly, I also increased the internet explorer text size to suit.

just a thought.
