Arrow Key Navigation

Post here with ideas and thoughts of how to make the eHome software better

Arrow Key Navigation

Postby deckhardt on Wed Jul 25, 2007 3:46 am

Would be nice if there were keyboard equivilents to all touchscreen options.

This would allow me to display ehome on a TV Channel via modulation, and navigate it using a remote control, or just about any bluetooth capable cellphone using Salling Clicker.

I can arrow around and Enter/select an icon on the home page, but I can't get back to the home screen, nor use the arrow keys to navigate/select on the subsequent pages.

The only support for arrow keys (remote control) at the moment is for Audio and Video and the main menu. (800*600) But yeah, a scan converter is the idea to display eHome on any resolution TV.

Good idea.
arrow keys and hotkeys for everything would make control via PH as simple as using the sendkeys command as opposed to win message commands...

Then I would use it specifically for my HTPC (which doesn't do recordings ATM)

Ok, you got me there

Unfortunately I can hear my wife saying,
"Why do I have to walk over there to use the system, why can't I use it on the TV?"
Of course if I simply modulate it in without Hotkeys from the remote she'll probably push the TV off the back of the stand from trying to push the ehome buttons on the screen.

Mouse Gestures!!!

YEP!!!!

There done. Will be in the next release!

Remember... TRUE TOUCH SCREEN APP!

Also finishing up a Pocket PC controller for the Audio and Video. Its TRUE 2 way. Will support CE 4.2 (Pocket PC 2003) and above. Also should be able to be ported to CE Phones.

Mouse Gestures...

Ok call me a dummy, does that mean I'd be able to use it from a Learning IR remote?
