Internet Radio

Well, ask how to?

Postby jbbtex on Mon Nov 26, 2007 4:53 pm

I tried the Inet radio. Whenever I try to play it in the client, I get "Loading playlist" and nothing else.

I restarted the audio server and got the same result.

BTW. I'm only posting this to let you know. If I never get Inet Radio, I will still go on with my life.

But... Are you using the regular Audio server with MP3's?
We did find that the latest WinAmp is NOT working. I myself use an 2.9 version.

I'm using v5.35. It works fine for everything else.

When I go to the Shout Cast site and save the file, the exention is .pls. And I used WinAmp to convert this to a .m3u. Still didn't work.

Is the the correct format or should it be something different?

Tried radio, it works really well great one Jakebullet - but............ theres always a but!

No actually there is a Butt Head!

About to say one station seemed to not work and brought up the 'open file' dialog box when you click play, had a moment of inspiration went back and found I had not ticked Inet radio! Doh!
Could have gone for the 'have you tried turning it off and on?' approach as per the IT dept at work :) but that would have been far to scientific.

Would you like me to have a go at a simple screen grab and walk through for the help pages as per my set up?
