by centering you mean the current song in the middle of the list?
Can't do that. What about changing the color?

Change color? Yeah! How? :D Here's where I am so far...

I want to fix the capitalization, add the song select code (which I think I have a handle on), and come up with a good background.

I tried using a SQLite DB tool for copying multiple elements (in this case, my transport control group) from one screen to another, but it didn't work, so I compromised and created a new, all-in-one transport graphic and used blank picture elements with actions defined to control things.

Here's a graphic update...

Updates are coming fast this holiday weekend!

I've got searching the playlist done using regular expressions. You enter in the letters in the words you want to search for via the keys (like on a phone), then the list is cleared and populated with matches, if there are any.

For now, I stop searching when the size of the display is exceeded (I'll populate another array in the future so all matches can be seen). I also need to figure out how to read a label to get the playlist position of the displayed song so that it can be acted upon.

Steve: Is there an accessible pop-up menu with more than three choices?

I just did some searches and had no luck. Hopefully, yours is better!

What about reading the contents of a text element?

aaaahhhh... it was the small one we looked at. Off the top of my head...

the call would be...

dim sFile, aFiles
aFiles = array("1111111","22222222","3333333333","44444444")
sFile = g_oGbl.PopupListBox("Please choose a video to play", aFiles, sFile, , "Videos")

Let me check out the reading of the label

Ok, that worked fine...

Regarding the paging code, there is some strangeness depending on where you are in the playlist. I sometimes get blank screens, then, if I hit page up, it jumps to zero.

send me your play list. the one I had earlier was smaller I think. Also. the side text on the popup list. Try removing the 'please' text. I think that will center it better. Still looking for the reading of labels. Just been a mad house here...

Moving 5 pages down or 4 pages up is a problem. No errors in log.

Are you adding or removing any items? Page size is calc'd at 1st run.
