Remote CC and DS issue

Postby seekingdave on Sun Nov 25, 2007 4:54 pm

Hi All

Just a quick question (yes sorry I know I have a LOT of quick questions  ) I have been trying to get the PH remote CC and DS to work with Ehome, I have the DS and CC working from the powerhome side and can view them however when I click on the menue icon for either in eHome I just get a lovely brown screen

I know it will be something simple I am missing, any ideas would be great.

Cheers
Dave

Hmm. I had it working before, but now it's dead. The standard CC and DS work for me also.

Hay Steve,

The DS and CC are both working outside of eHome as a stand alone unit they seem fine, it is just they won't work in eHome?

I can run them using the PH EXE comands for the programs and they come up fine, but when I click on either of the icons in eHome all I get is a brown screen.

Sorry mate

Looks like it cannot find the remotes.
What path is the remotes installed to?

Ah ha! I ran this on my PH machine before, which uses a "normal" installation. I tested this on my main machine, which has PH installed on D:\.

I edited the vbs file, but it still does not work.

Yep, find out where the PH remotes got installed to. Mine are in the root of PH but daves where is subdirectories. Then the VBS file needs to change.

Make sense?
