Screen Saver Inhibit?

Postby TonyNo on Sat Aug 02, 2008 4:34 am

I finally upgraded my main touch screen to the latest version and am not seeing the screen saver kick in or the monitor going into standby. Is there some kind of inhibit?

Nope, nothing changed there. The only time we touch the screen saver code is the playing of video. Otherwise its left alone.

As soon as I hit the US I am going to upload V5.16 - Right now all is packed up (3 more days and its PIZZA time!) have you seen the 'POWERCFG .EXE'
Do a google search on it.

I just tried a test using Wizmo (http://www.grc.com/wizmo/wizmo.htm). Issuing a monoff does put the monitor into standby.

OMG, I just hit the monitor button in the header and that turned it off, too.

Another thing I just noticed is that neither the screen saver nor the power-saving mode kicks in.

One machine used constantly, the second is used intermittently.

Since I found the screen button in the header, I use that instead of Wizmo.
