I love this little guy!!!

I had plans to do a PPC version but with the true PPC dieing and going more towards mobile phones I could not see a person putting a mobile phone in his wall! :?

With that said - anybody here - thinking about mounting this type of small touch screen in a wall? Say with control for Powerhome?

Excellent find Tony,

I would certainly consider mounting these. Would be nice if they were 640x480, but it's a great option regardless.

Is it an issue that it runs CE 5.0?
Would you look at doing some kind of web front end, or?

Sort of kicking around supporting these.

I already have a PPC engine working. (shopping list - AVOD remote)

Would really like to adapt the screen designer so you could build PH screens.

This is just a tiny fanless computer with 40GB hard drive for $295 USD
Still need to add another $100 though for an eHome appropriate OS.

WOW!! I like those!!

Specs:
* AMD LX-800 Low Power 500MHz CPU
* 7 Inch Wide Screen LCD, 800 x 480 Resolution
* 256MB DDR on Board ( Max 1GB)
* 1 x RS232, 1 x RS232/422/485
* 2 x 10/100 LAN, 2 x USB2.0
* CF Socket
* 1.5W Amplifier with Inbuilt Speakers
* Fanless
* 75mm VESA Mounting
* Wireless and Bluetooth

This will run eHome fine. Wont play video but would run the small client fine

Imagine it with custom HA screens. in every room of your house. Its only 7 inches. aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh :P

Also, these are panel mount, not wall mount. If you have access from the rear, all is well. If not, you would need to make some sort of frame that this would go in and then attach to the wall.
