ehome client stuck on initializing

Postby bultmi on Mon Aug 18, 2008 12:56 pm

When I launch eHome Digistal Tools, all the other servers (Video, Audio, Home) initialize and luanch fine but the actual client stays on initializing. This is the newest version V5.15, but is currently a DEMO. I can also launch the eHome setup wizard successfully and go through and configure with no problems. I have installed this program on 2 different computers and both come up with the same problem. Running Win XP SP2

A couple of things to check.
If your firewall is running, turn it off for the moment.
Also check your error logs. They will be in C:\eHome\Client-Server\ErrLogs
You can send me the last log and I will take a look at it.

You are not making a connection to your Audio Server. Check you client INI file and see what your are trying to connect to.
You can get there by running the eHome wizard and going to the client / server tab

If there is still and issue - delete the log, restart eHome and send me the new log
